Don’t be left at the station during this weekend’s 39th Train Time at MSOE

Model railroad buffs, families and children will want to “make tracks” to MSOE campus March 6 and 7 for the 39th annual Train Time, featuring operating model railroad layouts, vendors and displays. One of the largest shows of its kind, Train Time is presented by MSOE’s student-run chapter of the Society of Model Engineers.

Some of the participants will include: Lionel Model Railroad Club of Milwaukee, Badgerland ‘S’ Gaugers, Cream City Traction, Metropolitan Transit Association, Milwaukee Area N-Trak, The Milwaukee Electric Railway & Transit Historical Society, Milwaukee Light Engineering Society, Milwaukee ‘N’ Southeastern Ltd., National Railroad Historical Society, Stadelmann Engineering, The Wisconsin Electric Railway Historical Society, The MSOE Alumni Modular, Operation Lifesaver, World’s Greatest Hobby and Kalmbach Publishing .

MSOE’s student-run Society of Model Engineers promotes the practical application of engineering and technology through the design, construction and operation of a large HO-scale model railroads. Members are involved in railroad history and research, construction methods, electrical systems and computer design.
